| Maintenance |
| |
| All ceramic tiles are stain resistant and require very little maintenance. Keeping your ceramic tile & grout free of dust and dry, sandy soil will minimize scratches, wear patterns and grout soiling that can develop from everyday use and traffic. Sweep, dust or vacuum surfaces regularly to remove loose soil and dust. Try to avoid the urge to mop the entire floor, wetting the area will contribute to spreading dirt and dust into the grout lines, which will change the grout color. If you must, change the water often as to keep it clean. |
| |
| Wall tiles in your home will easily keep their lovely look with simple routine care. Just wipe regularly with a damp cloth or sponge, using a non-abrasive household cleaner. |

Use good quality mats at all exterior entrances. They trap dirt, sand, grit, and other substances such as oil, or driveway sealer that would otherwise be tracked onto your floor. Mats are also suggested at heavy pivot locations, such as in front of your kitchen sink or stove. |
Protect your tile by affixing felt or similar pads to the legs of any metal, iron, wood, or plastic furniture that will be placed on it. Exterior metal furniture, which rests on tile floors or patios, may rust and cause stain. |
Do test cleansing agents in a small area before applying to entire installation. |
Detergent should not be used on the tile as it can leave a film that will dull the appearance of the tile. |
Do not use acid based cleaners as they can damage the surface of the tile and discolour the grout. Never use pure vinegar or bleach for regular cleaning. |
Do not use harsh cleaning agents (such as steel wool pads) which can scratch or damage your tile. |
Any spills should be wiped up as quickly as possible. |
Purchase several extra pieces to keep on hand for repairs. |
